W-70 system connectors

The figure shows the connection of floor slabs with the internal load-bearing wall. On these connectors, on a section equal to the thickness of the ceiling, the main part of the vertical forces was transferred via the concrete of the rim, with only a small share of the ends of the floor slabs. This was achieved by supporting the ceilings in the joint via protruding brackets that were an extension of the ribs of the floor slabs.. At the same time, these brackets facilitated the use of forced assembly of internal structural walls on rectifying screws, that passed through the wreath in the spaces between the supports. The width of the brackets in the places of contact with the wall was 9 cm, and the support length of the brackets on the wall 6,5 cm.

The floor slabs were placed on the wall with a layer of mortar thick 1,5 cm. The wall plate of the upper storey rested on the rim via a thick mortar layer 3,5 cm, placed in a horizontal joint by tamping. When tamping the mortar, the wall panel of the upper storey rested on the nuts of the rectification screws protruding from the wall slab of the lower storey. After the mortar has hardened, the nuts unscrewed a bit, so that the load is transferred to the crown only through the layer of tamped mortar.

In the figure, a walls are perpendicular to the floor slabs, and to the line. b - in parallel.

The periphery of the walls had cutouts - holes at a height, thanks to which a better connection was obtained for the transfer of tangential forces occurring in the joints.
