Reinforced concrete stairs.
Reinforced concrete stairs can be made of monolithic concrete or prefabricated elements. Reinforced concrete monolithic stairs are used in individual solutions, i.e.. mainly there, where there are complex shapes, non-standard dimensions, small number of elements, etc.. In multi-family and industrial buildings, typical stairs are made in the form of reinforced concrete prefabricated elements.
The figure shows monolithic reinforced concrete slab stairs. The run and landing plate are made in the form of a broken plate. Plate stairs are used for small spans of the run. For larger spans, the slab is thick and heavy. The board can rest freely against the wall or it can be fixed to the wall or to beams.
For larger gear spans, stairs are used, the steps of which rest on the stringers. The stringers can rest directly on walls or beams, most often, however, are based on landing beams, and these, in turn, are based on the walls. Another type of slab staircase is shown in the figure. These stairs can be made of monolithic concrete or prefabricated elements.
In prefabricated multi-storey buildings, prefabricated stairs are used. The gear plates rest on the landing plates. Stairs consisting of broken plates or plates based on bent string beams are also used.
In buildings with monolithic reinforced concrete or brick walls, reinforced concrete monolithic or prefabricated cantilever stairs are often used.. Figure a shows the steps of openwork stairs, and to the line. b full stairs. Degrees (Lynx. a) are fixed in a wreath hidden in the wall, while degrees (Lynx. b) are fixed directly in the wall.
